This past year, a few weekend-before-lasts, actually, December 7th,, the new building of the Church of His Presence (CHP) was dedicated officially by three services. The first was Friday night, with guest speaker Reinhard Bonnke, evangelist, and the second night was supposed to be Perry Stone, the Assembly of God Evangelist, who didn’t turn out due to a health issue, but no matter, Pastor John Kilpatrick stood up and said what he said the Lord (Jesus) wanted him to say. But the last night, the anointed music leader Lindell Cooley was given the place to also sub for Perry Stone. (Both Pastor John and Pastor Lindell joked about how they were standing in Evangelist Perry’s anointed shoes.)
Of course following an extensive praise and worship with both music leaders leading, the Presence of the Lord is evident because of the words, the familiar melody, and the participation of every member present. This was the musical lead-in of the song brother Lindell is known for: “We will Ride!” (This is a powerful theme of the Lord’s return to show Himself to be seen of all the world and catching up to his glorious herd of armored horses everyone who is ready will join their Master Commander and ride — ride in the charge of the Angel army of God, to destroy all enemy forces Zech. 14:5, Mt 25:31 — anyone not WITH Christ/Messiah is against Him.)
HIS GLORY FILLED THE TEMPLE
2 Chronicles 7:1,2 As Solomon finished praying, fire flashed down from heaven and burned up the sacrifices! And the glory of the Lord filled the Temple, so that the priests couldn’t enter!
The one remarkable text which Pastor Lindell alluded to is found in 2 Chronicles 7:1 and 2. This is the biblical description of God’s idea of holy dedication — everything was made perfect! Nothing was not done, everybody was satisfied with their work on God’s house. All the carpenters and stone masons were paid handsomely. And everyone stood in front of their king who lifted up his arms to say the right words pleasingly to God.
This is similar to CHP. The huge new building was filled up. Everyone there wanted to be there, and wouldn’t miss it for the world. Everyone worshipped the Father, and the prayers were said . . . similarly but for one thing — the name and Glory of the Son filled the hearts of the people in the building.
Solomon sacrificed 22,000 bulls and 120,000 sheep (verse 5) for the dedication of the Temple . . . but for the dedication of CHP only one sacrifice had to be made to qualify as Christian (Messianic) Church, and enable the Father to acknowledge his presence in the Building. (2 Corinthians 5:21)
Eph 3:10 The Church is going to show you its manifold wisdom — assembly of the redeemed — is the most important institution — the splendor of the Bride . . .
1Pe 1:24,25 But the Word remains forever, and this is the word which by the Gospel is preached to you: man’s glory is as the flower of the field — grass that fades and falls away.
Lk 16:15 the gates of hell will prevail over all but one — the Church — are you them which justify themselves before men? But God knows your hearts — for that which is highly esteemed among men is abomination in the sight of God.
Ro 8:19,21 The earnest expectation of the creature waits for the manifistation of the sons — glory of the children of God; the creature was made subject to vanity, not willingly, but by reason of Him who subjected the same in hope . . . BECAUSE THE CREATURE ITSELF SHALL ALSO BE DELIVERED FROM THE BONDAGE OF CORRUPTION INTO THE GLORIOUS LIBERTY OF GODS OWN CHILDREN.
Eph 3:14-21 My solemn prayer is this to the One that the entire family of the earth and of heaven is named — to grant you according to the riches of his glory, to be strengthened with all might, by the spirit in the inner man — that Christ may dwell in your hearts by faith — being rooted and grounded in His love, may be able to comprehend with us all to know His love — surpass knowledge and be filled with God’s fullness . . . unto him be glory in the church — according to the power that works in us — HE IS ABLE TO DO EXCEEDINGLY ABOVE ALL THAT WE ASK OR THINK! — in all ages be His glory in His church — world without end. Amen.
“. . . That now, unto the principalities and powers in heavenly places might be known by the church the manifold wisdom of God.” (Ephesians 3:10)
1. Who are these principalities and powers? They are rulers and antichrists, — cosmic forces of evil. The ‘prince’ of the power of the air.
2. What is the divine wisdom of the Church? It is the mystery of Christ — content of the secret.
3. How to make this ‘the manifold wisdom of God’ known?
Read how God through revelation has made this known to us, and you will understand and know — knowledge in the mystery of Christ) revealed to his holy apostles and prophets by the Spirit; that the Gentiles should be fellow heirs and of the same body and partakers of his promise in Christ by the Gospel — for which I was made a minister according to the gift of the grace of God given to me by his power — even to me, the least of the saints, that I might preach the unsearchable riches of Christ, and to make all men to see what is the mystery which has been hidden in God — who created all things by Jesus Christ . . . (Ephesians 3:1-10)
Genesis 12:3 For all the families of the earth will be blessed IF THEY WILL BLESS ISRAEL (and cursed if cursed)
Romans 15:8,9 Servants (to the circumstancised) because Christ was made a servant to them for the truth of God to confirm the promise he made unto the fathers. So the Gentiles might glorify God for his mercy — as it is written . . . “Therefore, I will give praise to thee among the Gentiles, and I will sing to thy name.” (Deuteronomy 32:43; Psalm 117:1)
THE OPEN INVITATION
The Church of His Presence does not claim any exclusive rights for God’s presence in their building — but its members do claim inclusively that God is with us both collectively and individually. (According to God’s Word) All who agree with Israel and with the New Covenant can by faith join us and be blessed and not cursed. (Even from any distance, online from the web.)
Pastor Lindell Cooley did bring a memorable message.
May the Lord bless and keep you;
